COMMUNITY CRAFT CENTRE

The Community Craft Centre at Chandelier has been established to create jobs for unemployed people.

They have started off by painting and carving ostrich eggs, but are so successful that they had to expand.

The Craft Centre is open to the public and guests are invited to try their hand on the painting themselves.

The Centre has been changed into a Black Empowerment Project, lately.

The once unemployed now own and manage the Project themselves – another success story at Chandelier. The products of the Craft Centre are for sale at our Curio Shop. We also have ostrich leather products for sale at very reasonable prices. If you find the same quality ostrich leather products at lower prices anywhere, Chandelier is prepared to give you a further 10% discount on the price.
